What is a Wholesale Investor?

These loans represent a rare chance to make a development finance investment from just $100k and are suitable for SMSFs, Family Trusts, Companies and Individuals. Solido investments are intended for ‘Wholesale’ or ‘Sophisticated’ investors only. To qualify as a ‘Wholesale’ investor you must satisfy one or more of the following criteria under the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth):
  • A person or entity that has obtained an accountant’s certificate dated no more than two years ago that confirms the client:
    1. has net assets of at least $2.5 million; or
    2. had a gross income for each of the last two financial years of at least $250,000.
  • A person or entity that is controlled by a person or entity that meets the requirements of (a) or (b) above.
  • A person or entity who invests at least $500,000 in the fund.
